Gourmet Cheese Fondue

Serves 4
For the perfect original fondue recipe you will need:
• 1 pack Gourmet Fondue mix
• 1 garlic clove, halved
• 3/4 cup Vegetable stock (or dry white wine)
• 1 tsp. lemon juice
• 2 tsp. corn starch
• Dash of white pepper
• Gourmet nutmeg
Preparation:
• Rub the inside of fondue pot with cut garlic clove
• Pour in vegetable stock or wine & lemon juice; simmer over medium heat until bubbly
• Add the corn starch to the cheese & mix well together
• Turn heat to low & gradually stir in cheese mix with a wooden spoon, one ladle at a time
• Continue to cook, stirring for 2 to 3 mins or until mixture is thick & smooth
• Do not allow fondue to boil
• Season with white pepper & nutmeg
• Move the pot to the fondue burner
To Serve:
Cut up Gourmet baguette and boil some baby potatoes & broccoli. Serve next to it Gourmet sausages, cornichon & pickled onions.
